MOST OF OUR NEW CLIENTS COME TO US
with either a very tired or amateurish Brand Identity that was
created either by themselves or cobbled together from some sort
of clip-art. We understand the constraints of starting a new
business, but the reason they become clients is become they
realize that they have to start to look much more professional
in order to attract the kind of business they want. And it ALL
starts with either a new Brand Identity or a refreshed one.
____It should be noted that logos
alone don't make the entirety of a 'Brand Identity', but they
certainly are an integral part, and one that we can easily present
here.
____In simple terms, a Brand
Identity often refers to a company's name, logo, tag line
-- its visual expression and/or its 'look' and 'feel'. We also
consider, then integrate, colours, typefaces, and any symbology
that may be appropriate to create a unique visual statement about
your business. It doesn't stop there, either. We continue to
expand this visual statement through the application of your
Brand Identity. Often, the first place for many of our
clients have been within their new website that we have designed
and built. Here is where additional refinements are executed
and noted. And remember, the web is usually the first place the
'world' gets to meet the 'new you'. Naturally enough, all Brand
Identities extend throughout ALL of your inside and outside communications
pieces to present a cohesive and unified image.
____As you peruse the various samples
here, you will note that a lot of them are primarily 'horizontal'.
The tip off is, these were created with the web in mind, as this
material needs to fit within a narrow band along the top of your
website. Others here, may be 'promotional icons' to help add
a visual statement to the promotion they are (or were) a part
of.
____Many of these are currently
in use, some aren't and one that is still being used goes
back to the early early '70s when I created it during my College
days! See if you can pick it out. If you think you know which
one it might be, email us
with your answer. (Tip: The answer is within our Portfolio
